Few months ago I decided to attend different high schools in Maryland to deliver motivational speech. Part of my speech includes sharing keys to success, opening the students eyes to reality after school, encouraging the students to pursue higher institution, enlightening them of different career paths, and showing them the steps to achieve their respective career visions. Today, I finished my 2015 mission with the high school students of Franklin High School and I would say it was indeed an awesome fulfilling experience.
Here are some of the lessons the students wrote they received from my speaking:
” I learned that it’s important to have great grades throughout high school and go to college and get a degree”
” You should not worry about money now and should just go straight to college”
” In order to become what I want, I have to set a goal and stick to it”
” Study harder, have time management, and put my education first”
” To try and get a scholarship”
” Stop missing school”
” Make the right decision at the right time”
” Prepare, Focus, Learn, Practice, Study”
” You can get many opportunities in life if you start getting good grades”
” Take part in extra curricular activities”
” You could be whatever you want to be as far as you set your mind to it”
I plan to attend many more schools next year.
